KIYE Radio Programs Get New Logos

KIYE radio has recently unveiled new logos for three of their programs, thanks to the creative talents of Nimiipuu graphic designer Cylen Moses, the owner of CM Designs. The three programs that received a facelift are The Conversation with Daniel, At the Drum with Tommy, and Rock’n with Rich.

The first logo, for The Conversation with Daniel, perfectly captures the program’s focus on Indigenous representation in media and amplifying Indigenous voices. The design incorporates the power of communication and the importance of Indigenous perspectives.

At The Drum with Tommy’s new logo features drumsticks with eagle feathers inside a circle of the drum, the center of many Indigenous powwows and ceremonies, surrounded by a vibrant red circle. This design effectively captures the program’s focus on sharing the latest and throwback powwow music.

Last but certainly not least, Rock’n with Rich’s new logo is a sleek and modern take on traditional rock’n’roll imagery. The design incorporates a guitar and eagle feathers, symbolizing the high-energy nature of rock music while representing the host’s Indigenous roots.

Overall, these new logos are a fantastic representation of each program, capturing their unique focuses and themes in a visually striking way. These new designs will undoubtedly help KIYE radio to stand out and attract new listeners, while also showing a dedication to continuing to provide diverse and engaging programming to Indigenous communities and beyond.
