Native Public Media hosted the 2023 Native Broadcast Summit in Phoenix, Arizona in the beginning of May. The theme for this year was “Celebrating Over 50 Years of Broadcasting in Indian Country.”

With over 65 Radio and television stations across Indian Country Tribal Broadcasters from all over the United States attended the summit to share ideas and network. The Summit provided different breakout sessions that addressed multiple topics relating to emergency broadcasting, community outreach, and how Tribal Radio and Television are important for providing information to their respected communities.
