Native Public Media provides Station Emergency Operation Plan training to broadcasters across Indian Country. In this training, broadcasters are learning how to develop a customized station emergency operation plan. Melissa Begay is the lead trainer for Native Public Media’s Emergency Response Program. She specializes in emergency preparedness and planning in preventing or managing human-caused or natural disasters such as extreme weather.
